Tumbleweed Classic Returns to Dodge City Raceway Park on May 3 with $1,000-To-Win Features

4/30/2025 Dodge City, Ks - Dodge City Raceway Park is set to roar back to life this Saturday, May 3, as the Tumbleweed Classic takes center stage for one of the most anticipated race nights of the spring. Originally scheduled for April 19, the event was pushed back due to weather — and with the rescheduled date comes even more excitement: increased purses, a strong field of competitors, and a full card of racing on the fast 3/8-mile oval.

Headlining Saturday’s show are the United Rebel Sprint Series and the United Rebel Late Model Series, both racing for a boosted $1,000 to win and $250 to start. With two of the region’s premier traveling divisions on tap, fans can expect high-stakes racing and thrilling side-by-side action all night long.

Also in action will be a full lineup of weekly favorites: IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, and IMCA Hobby Stocks, rounding out a jam-packed five-class program.
