EL CAPITAN CLASSIC DEBUTS AT DODGE CITY RACEWAY PARK JUNE 19-20

DODGE CITY, Kan. — The roar of Late Models returns to the high banks of Dodge City Raceway Park this weekend as the Heartland Late Model Tour rolls into the Old Cowtown for the debut of the El Capitan Classic, presented by Big R Stores, on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20.

With more than $50,000 in combined prize money on the line over two nights of competition, fans can expect some of the region's best drivers to battle it out in what promises to be an action-packed weekend of dirt track racing.

Friday night's racing program will feature the Heartland Late Model Tour headlining the card, joined by the Turbine Bar & Grill IMCA Modifieds and the O'Reilly Auto Parts IMCA Stock Cars.

The excitement continues Saturday night as the Heartland Late Model Tour returns for another night of high-stakes competition alongside the Murphy Tractor & Equipment IMCA SportMods and the Midas IMCA Hobby Stocks.

Fans can enjoy one of the most affordable nights of family entertainment in southwest Kansas with general admission tickets just $15 at the gate, while kids 12 and under are admitted free.

Adding to the value, race fans can take advantage of $10 meal deals, sponsored by National Beef Products, making it easy to enjoy great food while taking in all the racing action.
